Lawns white clover


Trifolium repens! or White Clover. Present in most lawns of the Midwest.

This plant is native to Europe and Central Asia and helps fertilize soil by fixing Nitrogen. The name “tri” comes from the triplet sets of leaves along the stem of the plant.

Another defining character of this plant is a small inward notch at the tip of the leaf.
